I first came down with gout after my 40th birthday party. It started two days later i was actually at work and twisted my ankle, the next day i couldn't even get my work boot on. That's how it all started, over the next week the pain got so intense i finally went to emergency room. They asked if i ever had gout before I said no, well you do now. I was totally bumed out. The doctor gave me some Cholcocine and went away two days later. That was the most pain i ever had. I'm so scared to get it again. It feels like blowtorch on my ankle.

Thanks for telling your story Mark, it sounds like you and I had a similar introduction to Gout! I hope my sight will help ease the fear on another Gout Attack happening and totally side-step all the Pain!
