The Strength Of Our Sleep Habits Can Help Us Stay Out Of The Gout Zone.

Sleep Habits

Let's face it, for the typical American, (and others around the world as well) our Sleep Habits could use some work.

Day in and day out, we hear how much we need to sleep, why we should make more of an effort, how hard it is on our bodies when we don't get enough and on and on.

So what good is it going to do you (or me) to have me banging on you about it too? Nothing. So I'm not going to!

But listen to what they say about it at helpguide.org:

  • Dampened immune system. Without adequate sleep, the immune system becomes weak, making you more vulnerable to colds, flu, and other infections and diseases. And if you get sick, it takes you longer to recover.

See? I let them do the "banging".

Do click on the link and get a feel for what might work for you and what to expect.

Once again, go easy on yourself; it's taken a lot of hard living to get to where you are now and it's not going to be undone overnight. The effects of gout are bad enough, but remember, if you've got gout, you're a good candidate for other serious illnesses.

Now get some sleep!
