Put That Hatchet Down . . .
Here's What To Do For Gout . . .

What To Do For Gout

"What To Do For Gout . . ." I figured I better put this page first since you're probably holding your foot trying to type one-handed.

I'll get right to it: as I talk about it on my Alkaline Water page; you've got to raise the pH of your body chemistry.

If you've got too much Uric Acid, you're too acidic.

We have to move your body pH from an Acidic state to a more Alkaline state.

Here's the Gout Kill Formula that I borrowed from my new buddy Jonas Clark (www.jonasclark.com):

  • Mix 8 oz of good water with the juice from one lemon and one teaspoon of Baking Soda. Drink it. This is a fast way to change your pH and reduce acid levels.
The sooner this happens the better because if your system is still raging on the acidic side you can't flush out the uric acid crystals.

Now Jonas is a devoted man and he recommends "praying" first . . . and I have to say, this is probably a good idea. Back when I was having Gout Attacks, I did pray a lot . . . but it was usually for someone to shoot me and put me out of my misery.

Nevertheless, what I've found out since then is that prayer, meditation, deep breathing, staying calm and not getting all stressed-out does help hold down the acidic build-up in your body.

Our own metabolism can create some pretty powerful chemicals like Adrenaline and others that are major contributors to having high levels of acidity in the body.

So . . . on your knees Brother . . . if you can stand the pain.

Here are a few other common recommendations for what to do for Gout if you're in the throws of an attack, but if you read-between-the-lines, they're all saying the same thing; move your pH level up out of the Acidic range to the more Alkaline side of things.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Black Cherry Juice
  • Baking Soda
  • Water
Get on with dosing yourself heavily with any and all of these every hour on the hour.
  • Dandelion Tea will help reduce uric acid.
  • Soak with Epsom Salts is another well-known trick.
  • A paste of dried peppermint leaves applied to the site can help pull down the inflammation.
Beyond that, minimize the protein intake, avoid wheat, (bread, pasta), and eat as much raw fruits and vegetables as you can; apples, oranges, watermelon, cantaloupe, broccoli, salads, cherries, grapes . . . anything that's juicy or has moisture still in it.

So there you have it, that is about all I can say for what to do for gout if you're having an Attack.

There is a reason why I called this site Natural Gout "Prevention" . . . it's easier to prevent Gout than it is to live through a Gout Attack.

Remember; if you've had a Gout Attack, sooner or later your going to have another one . . . head for my SOLUTIONS!!! page to get out in front of this right now . . . because, as I say all over the site here;

"If You've Got Gout,
You're A Really Good Candidate For
Heart Disease And Diabetes."
