I don't work from home because I have gout, but having gout is what has caused me to be able to work from home.
Strange how this nasty disease has created a whole new life of freedom for me . . . I guess it just comes down to what you focus on.

Learning this Internet Marketing/E-commerce way of life has been great fun and an exciting challenge. It's taken a lot of "getting out of my comfort zone" to get it done but what excellent knowledge and skill to have in the Google Age!
In my past sales and marketing career, it took a tremendous amount of driving around, knocking on doors, chasing people down and a lot of one-on-one connection. Now every morning I check the snow report first. Every afternoon I take our crazy little dog for a long walk by the river. Making it to yoga class is never a problem. The best thing is never having to eat out anymore. Really great smoothies with bananas and cherries for breakfast; ham, cheddar, horseradish mustard, jalapenos, lettuce and tomato and avocado sandwiches for lunch (all organic and spelt bread!); a T-bone with a baked sweet potato and Caesar salad for dinner. And wash it all down with a big, monster Zinfandel!
My new motto: Never drive the car unless it's to go do something fun!
